Copyright 101 w/ Rob Weisberg - Tuesday October 8, 6-8pm.  Responsibility for copyright compliance liability is typically assigned to or “assumed’ to be handled by librarians and other information professionals. How can you be sure you are satisfying your organization’s compliance policies?  Copyright has been in the news a lot recently with Supreme Court cases and the new Copyright Act.  What is new? What has changed?  What does it mean?  Should you care?  This interactive presentation and discussion will address these issues and any other questions or concerns.

Win-Win Negotiating w/ Juanita Richardson - Wednesday October 16, 6-8pm. With this session, presented using a 360° Learning model, the speaker shares a framework for principled negotiation that enables participants to apply win-win negotiating skills to any conversation.  Then we break out to Learn 360°.  With the speaker becoming part of the learners in the audience, we engage in a discussion around an issue of interest to the audience –for example, negotiating the Big Deal in the face of changing user needs and limited budgets.
