This past Thursday was SLA-TSG's first function of the 2008-2009 school year. (Okay, so school hasn't started just yet. We couldn't wait.)
Members converged on the patio of the Ferret and Firkin pub on Spadina Ave., just south of Bloor Street, to drink, eat, and discuss matters of dire importance: tours and events to take place during the coming year; the future direction of our nascent Professional Profiles interview series; the number of Buffalo wings a single person could possibly consume on ten-cent wing night. Weighty stuff.
By the gathering's conclusion, a number of intersting proposals had been put forth by everyone present. Even now, these proposals are in the process of becoming plans. When those plans materialize, expect to see them detailed here and on our site.
At this early date, only one thing seems certain: The SLA-TSG will meet for drinks again.
